Who we are

Safe PDF Converter is available at https://safepdfconvert.co.uk/. For privacy questions, contact us at safepdfconverter@safepdfconvert.co.uk.

Files and conversion tools

The conversion tools are designed to process the file you select in your browser. The converter code reads the selected file locally and creates the converted result in your browser; the file is not sent to our converter server or retained by us through the conversion feature. Your browser downloads the JavaScript libraries needed for some tools from the Cloudflare-operated cdnjs content delivery network. Those requests can disclose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages requested, to that provider. Do not use a shared or untrusted device for sensitive documents.

Information collected when you use the website

Our web host and security tools may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, browser or device information, and pages requested. WordPress may also process information if you submit a comment, contact us, or use an administrative account. If comments are available on a page, the comment form may collect the information you provide together with technical information used for moderation and spam prevention. Email you send to us is used to respond and manage the enquiry.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use a Google-certified consent management platform provided through Google AdSense to present privacy choices for visitors in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and Switzerland. You can accept, refuse, or manage the choices shown in the consent message. Where consent is required, non-essential analytics and advertising storage or tags are intended to operate only in accordance with your choice. You can revisit or withdraw your choice using the privacy and cookie settings link in the site footer or menu, where available.

If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process information about visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and identifiers or events used to measure site use. If you consent to advertising, Google AdSense and its listed advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, or personalise advertising, depending on your choices and the settings available to you. Google provides information about its data practices at Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. The current partners and purposes are available from the consent message’s partner list and manage-options screen.

Essential cookies may also be used to operate WordPress, protect the site, remember administrative login sessions, and store privacy choices. Cookies used for comments, login, or administration may differ from cookies used for analytics or advertising. You can review or change non-essential choices through the consent controls. Browser settings can also restrict cookies, though some site functions may then behave differently.

Third-party services and links

When your browser requests advertising, analytics, or conversion-library resources, the relevant provider receives the request and may process technical information under its own privacy terms. Our site also contains links to external shops, affiliate networks, and advertisers. If you follow one of those links, the destination site may collect information, set cookies, and use its own tracking or purchase systems. We do not control those sites or their privacy practices; review their notices before providing information or completing a transaction. Affiliate links may earn us a commission if you make a qualifying purchase or take a qualifying action, at no additional cost to you.

Sharing, storage and international transfers

We use service providers for website hosting, security, content delivery, analytics and advertising, and we may disclose information where required to protect the site, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal request. The converter does not store the files you select. Other information is kept only for as long as needed for the purpose described, including site operation, security, responding to enquiries, and legal obligations. Providers may process information in countries outside the UK or your country; their own privacy notices explain the safeguards and retention periods they apply.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can refuse or manage non-essential consent through the consent controls and withdraw it later using the privacy settings link, where available. Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may also have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to receive information in a portable format. Contact us at safepdfconverter@safepdfconvert.co.uk to make a request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site, the services we use, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top indicates the latest revision. Please check this page periodically.
